In addition to university degree programs, there are several other opportunities and services available to the general public.
Flight Training Clinic
Located at The Ohio State University Airport, the Flight Training Clinic (FTC) provides flight instruction to the general public. Interested individuals need not be connected with the university to be eligible for instruction. An individual can earn a Private Pilot’s Certificate, Instrument Rating, Commercial Certificate, Multi-Engine Rating, Certified Flight Instructor Certificates, and Complex and High-Performance Endorsements.
Computer Assisted Testing Service (CATS)
The Ohio State University Airport’s Flight Education Division hosts the only CATS site in Central Ohio. CATS is the recognized leader in educational, licensing, and certification testing.
Cirrus Standardized Training Center
As the only Cirrus Standardized Training Center in Central Ohio, The Ohio State University Airport is able to serve your Cirrus Primary, Instrument, or Transition Training needs in your own aircraft or in Flight Education’s new Cirrus SR-20 G3.
